SAN CLEMENTE, November 4, 2026. San Clemente’s District 2 City Council contest shows Steve Knoblock ahead with 2,743 votes (55.12%), while Mark Enmeier has 2,233 (44.88%) in the latest unofficial results displayed by Orange County. The reported gap is 510 votes.
A three-way choice in District 1
Separate from District 2, the District 1 election lists Steve Camp first at 2,656 votes (45.68%). Donna Vidrine has 1,755, and Aaron Washington has 1,403. These candidates compete for a different seat from Knoblock and Enmeier, so the figures describe two district races rather than one citywide selection.
Mayoral totals
The city’s mayoral ballot shows Victor Cabral with 11,628 votes, Kathy Ward with 4,959 and Shane Hirschman with 4,085. That citywide race is already the subject of separate California58 reporting and should not be duplicated merely to restate the totals.
The registrar’s figures remain preliminary while outstanding eligible ballots are processed. The first scheduled update after election night is 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, and the official result will be determined through the certification process.
